New Hampshire native Nick Lincoln spent the greater part of a decade in the manufacturing industry before achieving what he considers to be one of his greatest career accomplishments thus far – opening and operating Urban Wren, one of Greenville, SC’s premier dining destinations.

Serving as the Executive Director, Lincoln oversees all aspects of the business with a particular focus on business development. His love for travel led him to experience some of the finest exemplifications of hospitality in the world – something he would ultimately emulate at his own restaurant one day.

The pursuit of wine knowledge originally drew Lincoln to the hospitality industry, however, as he continued to learn more about the hospitality world, his vision for Urban Wren cultivated into something that went beyond providing just good food and good service. “With Urban Wren specifically, we look to transcend people to different cultures through flavors [on the food and beverage menus] that can’t be found anywhere else in Greenville.”

Lincoln’s management style is built on trust and fostering relationships with his staff. He emphasizes a collaborative approach when leading his team and allows them the autonomy to be innovative and contribute to the establishment’s success. Lincoln embodies what it means to truly love what you do, and finds passion in every aspect of the business. From the food to the wine and beverage programs to providing the highest quality service possible – Lincoln calls the feeling of how far Urban Wren has come since its humble beginnings to a recognizable name in the community, simply “magic.”

When he’s not in the restaurant, Lincoln can be found savoring precious moments with his family. He is married to his beloved wife Haleigh and they are the proud parents of two children, with their third on the way in the summer of 2024. The Lincolns share their home with two dogs, Gunner and Maverick, and have four goats, Bill, Brady, Ross, and Joey. The Lincolns maintain an active lifestyle and cherish any opportunity to camp, hike, and play sports together.
